Yes, yes, I know - more guidelines. Still, though, no matter how much this may all be common sense, sometimes we just don't adhere to common sense, hmm? We're all human, after all =P ('Cept me - I'm a unicorn! xD) (The Venus Says: I'm a planet, and Leppy and Parattchi are kittycats =P)
Ahem. Randomness aside, let's just review the guidelines for posting in the Suggestions board:
Be Respectful. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: We're all family here, however extended and occasionally randomized, and family members should be loving, respectful and courteous when speaking to other family members, even and especially when upset. Watch how you word things, alright? No flaming, no abusing. If you can't say something productive, don't speak at all.
Is what you're saying helpful? Now, I'm not saying you need to worry overmuch about whether your idea will work or not - some will, some won't, don't worry about if we say "No" or "Wait." What I am saying is that when you're presenting your idea, don't just say "___ is really cool. Let's do it." Say "I think ___ would be a neat thing to have on TP. Is there a way we can use/modify it and add it to the site? What do you guys think?" See the difference? The former is a no-no; The latter is a yes-yes =]
Look around. Maybe your idea has already been implemented to the site, and you missed it; If that's the case, there's no need for a thread, unless you have an idea to improve it. Or, maybe someone else has had the same idea as you, and already created a thread for it. Check back through the last couple pages and see if another member's already brought it up. If so, you can add your own thoughts, opinions and related suggestions to the existing thread, and/or bump it up to bring it to attention if you see it hasn't been dealt with one way or another yet. If nothing's been said before, by all means make a new thread!
That's it! We look forward to seeing what great ideas and brainstorming people bring in to make Timeless Planet even funner!
Note: The Suggestions board is mainly for OOC-related problems, not plot ideas. Those go in either the Plots or Mini-Plots boards. Thankies ^_^
