The reason for Magen Forest being named as it has becomes apparent as soon as you step into the shadow cast by the majestic trees. The explorers who first discovered this enormous stretch of land covered with trees were enchanted by the subtle grace of the willowy branches of the trees. Since it seemed magical to them, they named it as they did. Many of the treetrunks are the color of some sort of gem rather than the traditional brown, and it retains the beauty of autumn all year round. Even in winter, it's not foreboding as perhaps it should be. Citizens who know that magic does exist in this new world know that there is actually some passive magic in this landmass. Sadly, though, about half of the citizens think of magic as they always did - a myth to scare children into obedience. Those are in danger in the forest, as some people still do dissapear when wandering too deeply into this enchanted woods...
