	The Falling River After going through foothills and rainforest, the Falling River is at its widest point here. Just around the river, life flourishes, and you can find many herbs and tall grasses here. At some points, the river is a mile wide and so quick it's impossible to swim across. Though the river is the creator of life, it can also destroy it - when it floods, it can cover the entire plains area. 	Sapphire Lake The Sapphire Lake looks like a gem set into the golden surroundings of the Golden Plains. It reflects the sky perfectly so it always looks sky blue, or maybe a little bit white if the sky is cloudy. The waves lap gently against the shore, like ridges in a gemstone. It is quite a large lake, and a small stream runs from the Falling River to constantly feed this lake. Because of this, it occasionally overflows and floods the land around it, so it is not a safe place to inhabit unless a house has stilts and a canoe. In the winter, sometimes the very center of the lake will remain unfrozen, so be careful when walking on the ice in winter... Golden Plains

The Golden Plains really do live up to their name - the grass seems to be made of gold, and at times it gets so tall it's hard to see in any direction. During the summer, it can get terribly hot and humid, being next to a rainforest. At winter, there's often frost, though snow is a rare sight here. A river runs through the center, providing some relief from the heat.
