Bacatus Marsh
On Siccus' southern border, Bacatus, meaning "set with pearls" in Latin, seems to live up to its name when seen from the right perspective. From the air, the large pools that dot this land seem like dyed pearls set into the land like a piece of fine jewelry. Around the perimeters of the land, the grass is a golden brown, though it turns green as it goes in. There are occasional groves of trees, and even a few farming communities here and there. These communities have been attracted to the fertile soil, and have learned to combat the disease.
