Year: 100 AC Season: Spring Weather: Although spring has officially come, it seems that winter is reluctant to leave. Some of the smaller rivers are still frozen over, and deciduous trees still have some snow on them. But you know what they say - the harder the struggle, the greater the plunder...

Welcome to Timeless Planet, a freestyle RP with a unique plotline! We hope you enjoy your visit, and encourage you to sign up (as all admins would).
The good news is, we're finally open! The bad news is, it took a while for us to do it, but all is well now. We'll get the leader bios finished up soon, then we can really start RPing.
A warm welcome to our newest member, MadisonSparks! >>Venus<<
Rules Love them or hate them, here they are. You must read these either prior to or directly after signing up here. Rule threads with an exclamation point by them are required reads, rule threads with a thumbs-up sign next to them are should-reads reads and those with a paper next to them are optional. If you are becoming a staff member, however, you must read all of these threads. These are subject to change, though when they are changed an announcement will be made. Moderators: >>Venus<<, ~*CrhisaHoa*~, ~`Leppy`~

Kingdom of Men
State of Palus The State of Palus, which, fittingly, is latin for "swamp," is the state closest to the Midland. It shares its southwestern border with it. It is also the state closest to the Equator. The climate is subtropic, though it's so close to being tropic that it's hard to tell the difference. Winters are warm and summers are unbearably hot. It's always humid here, though it's the most humid in the summertime. Most people who live here have never seen snow all their lives. Though Siccus is geographically larger, the states of Palus and Siccus have about the same population. Sub-Boards:City of Pyropus, City of Feiras, Forever Swamps, Pluvia Cadet Forest, Virdis Mons, Sticka-Stinka-Roo Swamp Moderators: ~`Leppy`~, Parattchi

State of Siccus Like Palus, the State of Siccus was named after its climate in Latin: "Siccus" is Latin for "temperate." Siccus is mostly northwest of Palus, though it shares its entire border save for a tiny spot near the Eastern shoreline with Palus, and is easily the largest state in the Kingdom of Men. Its climate is the most varying of the three states, though it is largely temperate. Along the borders that it shares with Palus, the climate is warmer, and there are a few swamps. Along the border it shares with Montis, things are much cooler, and mostly pine forests inhabit the area. The areas in between those two borders are filled with plains and forest mixed with deciduous and pine trees. Sub-Boards:City of Terra, City of Argentum, Bacatus Marsh, Calico Plains, Magen Forest, Volcanic Flats Moderators: ~`Leppy`~, Parattchi
State of Montis The State of Montis, which is latin for "mountain," is about the same time as Palus, though it is a little smaller. It shares most of its border with Siccus, though a small area of borderland near the Eastern coastline is shared with Palus. It is generally very dry in Montis, and many mountains raise the elevation by thousands of feet. Areas not crowded with mountains are usually coniferous and alpine forests. It is the most rugged and unforgiving state of the three, and the least populated, though its mountains are tame compared to many in the Kingdom of Beasts. Kingdom of Beasts
Anadhal Packlands The lands of the Anadhal Pack are closest to both the nation's border and the Equator. The majority of the Anadhal's lands are right on the Equator, which has a dramatic effect on the climate. The majority of the lands consist of swelteringly hot and humid rainforest, though the lands by the sea are a bit cooler. There are a few marshes here as well. Mostly tropical animals make their homes here. Sub-Boards:Ryerah Rainforest, Zuli Marshes, Cliffside Moderators: ~*CrhisaHoa*~, Parattchi

Tierah Packlands The Tierah Packlands are the northernmost lands of the Kingdom. Up here, the climate is much cooler and drier than it is in the Anadhal Packlands, and it is a place of alpine forests and tall mountains. Some of the tallest mountains on Earth are here, and there are a few volcanoes. Sub-Boards:Ardus Mountains, Verden Forest, Seaside Plateau Moderators: ~*CrhisaHoa*~, Parattchi
Rasha Packlands The Rasha Packlands are to the northeast of the Anadhal and the southeast of the Tierah. Unlike the other two packlands, which are on the extreme ends of climate and temperature, the Rasha Packlands are right in the middle. Here, there are rolling hills filled with golden grasses, seemingly enchanted forests and mighty rivers untainted by the pollution of mankind. However, the lands away from the coastline are very hot in summer and cold in winter, the one downside to living here. Kingdom of The Cursed Ones
Xar-Zan Military District The Xar-Zan District is the smaller of the two districts. Its border goes down the middle of the continent, tapering up north before it can reach the areas of tundra that taint the southern end of the continent. This is where the Elite Pack and those close to the Alpha make their homes. This is also where the Alpha usually lives, though he or she sometimes takes a vacation, if you will, to the Ken-Darhma district. Ken-Darhma Military District The Ken-Darhma district is to the south of the Xar-Zan district, and is the larger of the two. All landforms on the continent are represented within this district - parched desert, dark forests and frigid tundra. Though the Alpha normally does not make his or her home here, the district is still left in the capable hands of the Beta. Most of the population and the bulk of the Cursed troops make their homes here. Jah'Rana Foothills The Jah'Rana Foothills share a border with the Kingdom of Men. They are remarkably tall, and the tallest might even be mistaken for mountains. There is always a thick cloud of mist surrounding them, and on a bad day it's hard to see a foot in front of you. When it rains, it pours, and you'd better get out of the way when it does unless you want to end up shivering and looking like a drowned rat. It is very cool and humid here, and the ground is always moist. Sub-Boards:Start of the Falling River Moderators: >>Venus<<, ~*CrhisaHoa*~, ~`Leppy`~, Parattchi, WingedMusician

Centum-Nemus Rainforest Sharing a border with the Kingdom of Beasts, Centum-Nemus is Latin for "hundred trees," and it really does live up to its name. It's easy to get lost here, even if you can fly - from several thousand feet up, all you can see looking any direction is trees. This rainforest could still easily be mistaken for an unusually humid temperate forest, being unusually cool and dry for a rainforest. Life still flourishes here, though, and it is, if anything, more dangerous than any forest in the Kingdom of Beasts. Nihilum Desert Nihilum, being latin for "nothing," really does seem to sum up this desert, which shares a border with the Kingdom of The Cursed. It is a stereotypical desert, and all you can see for miles around is the pale yellow of sand. It gets agonizingly hot and dry here, and in the heat of the day what you can see is distorted to an amazing degree by heat waves. If you get caught out here without water during midday, you'll easily die within hours from dehydration. Oases are few and far between, and get swallowed up quickly by the enormous sand dunes that pile up here, though they are welcome breaks from the heat of the desert when they do show up. Golden Plains The Golden Plains really do live up to their name - the grass seems to be made of gold, and at times it gets so tall it's hard to see in any direction. During the summer, it can get terribly hot and humid, being next to a rainforest. At winter, there's often frost, though snow is a rare sight here. A river runs through the center, providing some relief from the heat. Sub-Boards:The Falling River, Sapphire Lake Moderators: >>Venus<<, ~*CrhisaHoa*~, ~`Leppy`~, Parattchi, WingedMusician
Neo-Caverns The Neo-Caverns are somewhere near the edge of the world, and truly huge. They're called the Neo-Caverns because some of the caves have things from the past - cavemen, dinosaurs, even things from the Precambrian era. The upper levels are fine and normal, and often used for shelter. However, the lower levels are inhabited by haunts from the past - though, unlike the way things were in the original Caverns of Time, the things haunting these caves are real and can hurt and even kill you. Many loners who have just become adults go here for a test of strength, and sometimes come out with a trophy from their hunts, if they come out at all. Cratera Badlands These badlands truly live up to their name, which means "the crater of a volcano" in Latin. It's certainly as hot as one! They're much like the Volcanic Flats in the Kingdom of Men, but ten times worse. There are places where the liquid rock looks just like solid rock, and you would sink into the magma if you stepped there. There are frequent cliffs and occasional peaks, some of which spew lava occasionally and many of which belch ashes quite often. Due to the ashes constantly in the stinking sulphur-smelling air, the sky is blackened and charred even in summer middays, and often as unbearably hot as the Nihilum Desert. The ground is either rock or sand, and this terrain continues until you reach the Edge of the World. It is nearly barren of life, and the ashes block out all methods of sky navigation, so good luck finding your way out of this wasteland. Moderators: >>Venus<<, ~*CrhisaHoa*~, ~`Leppy`~, Parattchi

Edge of the World The Edge of the World is, of course, not literally the edge of the world, considering the world is round. However, it certainly seems to be. It is an extremely tall series of cliffs that no one can tell what it overlooks, though it is apparently something volcanic - occasionally at night, a red-orange glow can be seen down at the bottom. The land nearby the cliffs is barren. The moment anything with wings flies off the edge of the cliffs, something seems to pull them down, and they can't get back up no matter how much they flap. It is a most forbidding place, and usually the only ones who dare go near them are Cursed. Not even the Cursed alpha dares to rest his army here, though.
